Breaking the "DAWN"
When I started washing windows I did not think about the effects on the environment and the impacts I could have on it. My brother is the one who introduced me to window cleaning as a profession many years ago. He had started a little window washing company in Livermore, California just to make a little cash. Neither of us thought anything of it becoming a career at the time. I started working for him in the summers about two years after he had started the business. I was going to Cal Poly at the time and just wanted to make good money in the summer. Over a couple of years of this I started a business in San Luis Obispo, California to help me finish up my schooling. From the inception of the business he started we have been using DAWN dish soap.

People ask me all the time what I use to get their windows so clean. I use only one product, DAWN dishwashing liquid and many years of perfecting a technique of leaving no streaks. People ask, "why DAWN?" DAWN has a special formula that cuts through some of the tough things that get on windows. It also squeegees clean off the window without leaving anything behind. Part of the reason it does that is because it does not have any of the harsh chemicals the other soaps have. Strait up, It Works, so I use it.

The environment is important to me. The majestic parts of wildlife and the beauties of this world are worth protecting in any way we can. DAWN has always been a product that is safe for the environment. I will not use a different product ever and will continue to support the efforts that Dawn is making to support saving wildlife.

For those who do not know, DAWN is one of the only products that meets the criteria for cleaning birds affected by an oil spill.
